CPU Additions and Site Fixes

Fixed and added a few things that were floating around in my inbox:

Added EP4 Level 102 CPUs (NA Ace Online)

Surquince Unique CPU fixed to 30 agility (was 30 shield)

Advanced Regular Gamble cards in the Creator will work now.

I am also working a bit on the side on a feature to help those using a "smaller" computing device. More on that later.

IF3 Armors for AO

As it seems that Ace Online NA has IF3, I guess the new armors should be added. They are as follows:

Andras Binder

Berith Defender

Caim Veil

Eligor Guarder

Thanks to omgnaro for sending me the needed information.

New Creator!

Finally finished up the new Creator. Hope you all like. There has been more additions then I care to admit. It was basically reconstructed from scratch. I will atleast list some of the most notable changes:

New interface! Made to look and feel more like in-game

Armors can now be bought, enchanted, gambled, legended, and destroyed just like weapons.

Rage-Enchanting added as an option to make enchanting fast as s#%t.

Christmas items added until the end of the year.

The Creator will basically work the same whether you have the site set to AirRivals or Ace Online NA. The only difference will be in what fixes are displayed (if there is a difference).

So go and break stuff!

Few fixes

Was browsing forums and ran across a few things that needed fixing:

Added an "Enchant All" button to the Weapon Calc that will allow enchanting/fixing of normally blocked items (suggested by Mike020389)

Item display page now shows correct gears for weapons.

Item display page now shows correct name coloration for Legendary/Unique/Boss/etc on weapons.

AirRivals prefix Hyper(GC) was fixed to include a 4.71% prob bonus and removed the 15% distance bonus.

I know there are a few other fixes that need some work, but I need to confirm whether it needs to be updated or have a whole new fix added first.

ToolTips? For my site?

So I just put through a few big updates.

AceCalcs Tooltips
This is a new feature that allows for other sites to use the AceCalcs databases to display tooltips, like those seen on this site, on their own. There is no files needed for download and it is easy to set up.

Check it out!

Item Display
The page used for displaying items has changed quite a bit. For one, it now uses a modified version of ACTT to display them, so it should soon work for all items, including CPUs, Buffs and such as well as load faster and be more flexible. All old links will redirect to this page and work just fine.

This does bring me to the other addition to the page. An ad. I know, sucks, but the site doesn't pay for itself. That is the only page it will be on, so don't worry about the site going ad crazy.

Update: Saw an error popping up with links using the old 2-digit IDs for armors. That should be fixed now.

Looking for a Beta Tester

There is a feature I will be adding to the site shortly, but need someone to help make sure it all works before doing so. The requirements are as follows:

Must be fluent in English.

Must own an information/fan site for some version of the game. (requires that person has access to its files)

Would be great if you have AIM/Xfire.

The feature will allow the implementation of AceCalcs tooltips(the box that appears when hovering over an item) to your website. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Underlying Changes

I just did an update to the common javascript file that controls the movable items and a whole bunch of other stuff. Because of how intertwined it is, I can't exactly test everything to make sure it all still works. Let me know if there are any issues.

Also, I was attempting to upload a duplicate of the weapon database to the server and accidently deleted it instead. Therefore, I had to force the new version to takes its place (when it isn't "ready"). This does lead to a bit of a problem as 2 databases don't match anymore. Shouldn't be a problem... I hope. lol

Aurora Tail

Crystal Missile

Evergreen Arrow

Frosty Terol

Witch's Wand

Gmod Models and Site Tweaks

First, I added Tier 3 & 4 armors to the Garry's Mod download page. This includes, like the others, 2 diffirent sizes to play with.

I also made a few site tweeks:

Stat Calc now generates correct links for NA users.

Stat Calc format fixes for entity centering issues.

Tooltip optimations. Before, each mouse-over generated a new hover, and removed on mouse out. Now, it is cached unless a change is noticed. Should help on slower computers.

Infinity Field Weapons

Finally got around to adding these weapons. The DPH is rounded (as I don't know the decimals) so the DPS will not be 100% accurate when bonuses are added in. I will try to approximate the decimals a bit later.

Below is the list of all the added weapons (for AO only):

Asteroid Cluster (IF)

Hyper Drive (IF)

Invading Force (IF)

Lightning Viper (IF)

Meteor Shower (IF)

Red Mist (IF)

Supernova (IF)

Volcanic Ash (IF)

Crazy Blast (Event)

Insanity Edrill (Event)

Lunatic Guard (Event)

Psycho Jackhammer (Event)

Appears that Internet Explorer decided it doesn't want to open my class databases anymore. May take some time to pin down the issue, so the calcs won't work in IE for a little while. Sorry for the inconvenience. =(

UPDATE: WOW IE. As I thought, it had to do with IE not liking xml files generated with php and still having the php file type. Had to redirect a fake .xml to the file instead... Whatever, it works now. Thanks to 009MG for pointing it out.

AirRivals Stats

Found a pretty awesome little tool created by Mariolino on the AirRivals forums. It is basically an enhanced version of the rankings shown on the AirRivals main site. It retains information about previous days so you can see changes in experience and fame. As it uses the AR ranking board, it is limited to the top 1000 gears.

I added a link to the Resources tab (if site is currently showing AirRivals content), or you can click here.

Unique link for NA AO

So instead of just having the little green box for informing what version you are using, the site now uses a subdomain. If you are looking for information specific to AR, you can visit just the normal www.acecalcs.net. If you want information on NA AO, you can now use na.acecalcs.net.

I received an e-mail a while back about adding that, but recently figured out a good way to implement it. The Stat Calc links still force the old way and will be updated probably tomorrow. Finished this up at 5:30am and want sleep. :(

Testing was minimal (as testing subdomains locally wasn't possible) so let me know if it f'd something up. Thanks!

What needs added?

Was on vacation/break for a while, but am back and want to try to add some of the missing content (especially for NA AO). If anyone knows of anything that needs to be added, please let me know. I don't have the time to keep up on all the versions as much as I would like. If you could give me some of the information for such (like, what the weapons stats are) with a screencap or link, it would make my job 100x easier.

Also, I was going to add in larger gear models for the Garry's Mod stuff, but a mod I downloaded recently broke my ability to convert the files properly. I will get those added when I figure out what got f'd up. =/

UPDATED (June 10):

Added 92 CPUs for Ace Online (thanks to krls)

UPDATED (June 13):

Stat Calc Update

I added a link feature to the Stat Calc that works similar to that of the other calcs. They will not link buffs and charms atm, as they are more difficult given how they load. Also, it will force a version change if it is needed to display it properly (it will notify you if it was changed).

Besides that, there has been a few other fixes/additions:

Added a "Clear All" button

Fixed Frenzy being unable to de-level when at max level

Fixed amount of shield given when over 300 shield stat

Fixed fixes not adding to pierce and probability

Fixed attack bonuses from armor fixes not adding to DPH/DPS

Fixed a format glitch when using Firefox 4

Models for Garry's Mod

For those that don't know what Garry's Mod is, it is a sandbox using the Source Engine that allows for the user to do just about anything they want. I taught myself how to import models into it and am working on building some packs for download. There will be more added with time.

Also, as of Gmod Patch 118, there has been an issue with spawn icon renders not working right for larger models (will appear blank). This should be fixed later, so just try re-rendering the icons here and there.
